Sarra Ryma
Sarra Ryma is a queer Franco-Algerian filmmaker whose work explores intersectionality, migration, love, vulnerability, and loneliness. At the intersection of the intimate and the political, she explores marginalised bodies, tales of exile, thwarted love, and Arab melancholy. Her cinema, both raw and sensitive, moves across fiction, writing, and performance – creating spaces where lives of resistance are made visible.
