Justine Triet is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris. She has directed several video tackling the place of the individual in a group. Sur Place (2007) was shot during student manifestations, Solférino (2008) was made during the presidential elections. In 2009 she directed Des ombres dans la maison in the Sao Paulo district. Two Ships is a medium-length film directed in 2010, winner of a great deal of awards in French festivals and abroad (European Film Award in Berlin 2012, Grand Prize at the Angers Film Festival, Grand Prize in Belfort, preselection for the 2012 César Awards). Her first feature film, Age of Panic won the Audience Award at Paris Cinema, was part of the Acid showcase in Cannes, as well as of many international festivals. The film was released in 2013 and was nominated at the 2014 César awards in the Best Film category. In Bed with Victoria is her second feature.
