Delphine Agut

After studying literature, Delphine Agut studied Philosophy and Cinema at the Sorbonne. She began writing short films while working as a programmer for international film festivals. She co-wrote Sophie Letourneur’s Chicks, which was presented at the Festival de Cannes in 2011, then After the War by Annarita Zambrano, the screenplay for which was awarded the Jury Prize at the Screenplay Awards in 2016. The film was selected for Cannes the following year. Delphine Agut also works as a screenwriter for television, notably on seasons 4 and 5 of SKAM France (2020), as well as Le Signal, series by François Uzan and produced by Gaumont for Paramount+, while developing feature film projects. Delphine Agut has co-written Amjad Al Rasheed’s Inshallah A Boy, selected at the 2023 Cannes Semaine de la Critique, and Souleymane’s Story by Boris Lojkine, which won Un certain Regard’s Jury Prize at Cannes Film Festival 2024, and Cesar 2025’s Best Original Screenplay.
