Pierre Leroux
Pierre Leroux is a French composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and sound engineer. After founding the band Housse de Racket with Victor le Masne (3 albums and worldwide tours), he reinvented himself as Pierre III, developing a writing style deeply inspired by cinema. Trained at the conservatory, he released two instrumental, cinematic mixtapes in 2020, Cluster I & II, which he visualized by co-directing an experimental short film echoing the strange atmosphere of lockdowns. In 2021, he scored Jeune & Golri by Agnès Hurstel (OCS), awarded Best Original Music at Séries Mania and released on Ed Banger Records. He then worked on Désordres by Florence Foresti (Canal+), La Reconnaissance des caractères by Fabien Commoy, and season 2 of Jeune & Golri. In 2024, spotted by music supervisor Thibault Deboaisne (Anatomy of a Fall), he composed the score for Baise-en-ville, Martin Jauvat’s second feature. Alongside, he collaborated with Phoenix, Christine and the Queens, Jean-Benoît Dunckel, Brigitte Fontaine and Empire of the Sun. As a remixer for Metronomy and Barbagallo, and author of the album Discotheque, he pursues a path at the crossroads of cinema and pop.
