Carla Pallone

Composer, violinist, turned multi-instrumentalist, Carla has just completed the original score for Manolis Mavris' medium-length film Midnight Skin, presented in special screening at Semaine de la Critique 2023. She is also continuing her collaboration with Matthieu Cruciani on a staging of Racine's Phaedra. In spring 2023, she composed the score for the podcast series The retrievals, number one in the worldwide apple podcast charts (serial prod / New-York Times). 

There's a great delicacy to her sound research, at the crossroads of chosen musical paths, from the most classical to the most experimental, improvised or meditative, as with her trio VACARME alongside C.Lassort and G.Claus.

The success and fervor that her Mansfield.TYA duo met over the past twenty years also demonstrate her ability to adapt her violin practice to the song format.
