Screened as part of the official competition at La Semaine de la Critique, Atsuko Hirayanagi's OH LUCY! will come out in France on 31 January 2018, distributed by Nour Films. The film, whose foreign sales are handled by Elle-Driver, will also be released in around a dozen or so regions among which the US (Film Movement) and Japan (Phantom Films) next year. Following its screening in Cannes, this moving first feature also took home the Audience Award at the Kinotayo Festival in Paris and was nominated in the Best Film category at the prestigious Film Independent Spirit Awards. With OH LUCY!, Atsuko Hirayanagi paints a subtle "tragicomedic" quest for love that takes us on a journey from Japan to the US.
