More than 100 000 entries in France for WOMAN AT WAR

Released early July in French cinemas, WOMAN AT WAR is starting the 7th week of its run (distributed by Jour2Fête). Benedikt Erlingsson’s second feature, with the outstanding Halldora Geirhardsdottir, pulled in over 100,000 viewers, thus confirming the very warm welcome it got from the public and the press alike in Cannes. Sold in many countries, including the United States and most European countries, this Icelandic eco-tale is also among the finalists of the LUX prize. “Is there anything rarer than an intelligent feel-good film that knows how to tackle urgent global issues with humor as well as a satisfying sense of justice? Look no further than Woman at War." (Variety)
