La Semaine de la Critique unveils the poster of its 58th edition

For the 58th edition of La Semaine de la Critique, Félix Maritaud - winner of the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award - gives himself over to the photographer Aurélie Lamachère in collaboration with les bons faiseurs agency.

Shot during the blue hour, the actor is one with the disturbing love-hungry character he embodies in SAUVAGE, Camille Vidal-Naquet’s first feature, which competed in the 2018 edition of La Semaine de la Critique. Félix Maritaud plays Léo with candid animalistic energy; almost graceful, he’s an angel haunted by his demons.

Like the fledgling filmmakers revealed to the world at La Semaine de la Critique, Félix Maritaud leads the way for a generation of young talents and follows in the footsteps of actors such as Léa Seydoux (Belle Épine by Rebecca Zlotowski), Garance Marillier (Raw by Julia Ducournau), Gael García Bernal (Amores Perros by Alejandro González Iñárritu) or Nahuel Pérez Biscayart (La Sangre Brota by Pablo Fendrick). These performers, male and female, join forces with authors, embrace their vision and add their own virtuosity.

La Semaine de la Critique, which will take place between the 15th and the 23rd of May, is thrilled to be both a witness and a facilitator of the rise of these artists.
