2006 Selection

The break up of a bureaucrat, the downfall of the macho goalie, the difficult choice of a girl between lust and love... Drama/Mex follows the pains and joys of three intense human relationships that are interlaced during one night in contemporary Acapulco. A once upon a time luxurious port, now in decadence, Acapulco serves as a background for a suicidal old man and a 15 year-old runaway girl, a young couple who face the hardships of separation after a tragic break up, and the thief who provoked it. We see glimpses of a night that will change their lives and our perception of the events.
