Yannick Casanova

Yannick Casanova, director and DOP, began as a still photographer on Béla Tarr’s The Man from London shot in Bastia. He then made his first short, L'Unique in 2007, followed by documentaries he calls “films of the real” (Un chant de bataille, Côte à côte...). Producer within the Stanley White collective and close collaborator to Thierry de Peretti or Mati Diop, he is now preparing his debut feature, Furtunatu.
