Sébastien Pilote

Sébastien Pilote is a Canadian film director and screenwriter from Quebec. He is first known for his short film Dust Bowl Ha! Ha! that was presented at the Locarno Film Festival in 2007. His first feature film Le Vendeur is awarded the FIPRESCI Prize while in competition at the San Francisco Film Festival and was also presented at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. His second film Le Démentèlement was selected at the 52nd Semaine de la Critique in 2013 in Cannes and was awarded the SACD Prize for best author.
