Blerta Basholli

Blerta Basholli is a Kosova-born writer and director, studied at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Her early works include the documentary Mirror, Mirror…, and the short films Gjakova 726 and Lena & Me, which were selected and awarded at international festivals such as Sarajevo FF, IFFR, and Dokufest. Her debut feature film, Hive (2021), premiered at the Sundance, where it made history by winning the Grand Jury Prize, Directing award and Audience award.
