At 5, Fellipe Fernandes cries his eyes out because his mother tells him he will never become a filmmaker. His first film carries this original pain transformed into heightened sensibility. The supposedly straightforward social story flirts with madness strained with a hint of fantasy, rendered with very little effects. Is the unbearable situation of the heroin materialized in a sort of intangible contamination, or is it the mere desire of showing the ambiguity inherent in all reality?
