TENZO in French theaters

TENZO, the docufiction by Katsuya Tomita, director of the feature Bangkok Nites, screened at La Semaine de la Critique, will be released in french cinemas on November 27th (Surviance). It tells the life of two Buddhist monks; one is down-to-earth and holds a suicide helpline in his temple, the other - played by an actor, though based on a true story - has been working on construction sites since the tsunami in Fukushima.

“Totally immersive, pure, naturalistic filmmaking at its best, well deserved of its slot at the festival, and definitely one to seek out.” (The hollywoodnews)
