Christophe Van Rompaey

Born on April 18th, 1970 in Gand (Belgium)

Christophe van Rompaey started his career as an assistant director for several short films and feature films such as Man van Staal by Vincent Bal, Alias and Team Spirit by Jan Verheyen. He directed two shorts films during his studies at the Brussels RITS movie academy (Zap and Façade). After graduating, he directed three short films that draw attention : Grijs, Ex.#N°1870-4 and Oh, My God. He directed several projects for television such as Team Spirit– the series, the comic tv show Halleluja and few episodes of Vermist. Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) is his first feature film
