For the fifth consecutive year, Nespresso challenges the directors all across the globe to take part in a unique 3mns vertical (9/16) short film contest. The call for application is now open on Nespresso Talents' website until March 25th.
Filmmakers are invited to explore the 2020 theme “Virtuous Circles” and tell stories about virtuous circles, stories of how one good deed has changed something for the better, how it became a catalyst for something bigger than the action itself.
The three winners of the International selection will be invited in May at the Festival de Cannes and will benefit from a mentoring session with La Semaine de la Critique. €50,000 in total rewards are up for grabs! Besides the international selection, the contest will also take place in certains countries such as Mexico, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Greece, Poland, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Mainland China and Belgium. The International Jury is composed by Rémi Bonhomme, La Semaine de la Critique's Program Manager, by the photographer Rena Effendi, by the actor Mark Chao and the explorer and adventurer Mike Horn.
