1996 Selection

Eliza and Louis are a young married couple who live on Long Island. One day, while Louis is off working at his publishing job in New York City, Eliza finds what appears to be a love letter written to Louis. Distraught by the possibilities, Eliza goes over to her parent's house to discuss the letter she has found. There she finds her mother, father, sister, and her sister's boyfriend. They convince her to see her husband face to face and confront him with the letter. That is where the adventures begin. The five of them pile into the parent's car in search of Louis. The Daytrippers takes a humourous look at the misunderstandings and repressed emotions of family life.
