Mamad Haghighat was born in Isfahan (Iran). He directed a few short films from 1969 and 1975. In 1971, he founds an Iranian film festival in Paris and writes a book "Histoire de cinéma iranien" published by the Centre Pompidou. He is a critic for the Iranian revue " Film ". He is the director of the cinema " Le quartier latin " and directs Etat de crise in 1984 when writing his thesis at the end of his studies. Two Angels is his first feature film.
