Born on November 22nd, 1960 in Suresnes (France)

After being a film critic, Léos Carax made his directorial debut with Boy Meets Girl in 1984, presented at La Semaine de la Critique. Then followed Bad Blood in 1986, The Lovers on the Bridge in 1991 and Pola X in 1999. In 2008, he participated at the collectif film Tôkyô ! presented at Un Certain Regard in Cannes. In 2012, Leos Carax directed Holy Motors selected in the Official Competition of the Cannes Film Festival.
