Born on May 15th, 1984 in Borås (Sweden)

Johanna Pyykkö is Swedish-Finnish and based in Oslo, Norway. She’s a BA in film-directing from The Norwegian Film School. She’s made several award-winning shorts, worked as Joachim Trier’s director’s assistant and been a writer for critically acclaimed tv-series Home Ground. Her short film The Manila Lover is selected at the 58th Semaine de la Critique. Johanna is now developing four features and a tv-series.
