Sébastien Laudenbach has worked in animation randomly. He helps to create this department at Arts Décos in the 1990s. Since his first short film, Journal, intimacy is at the heart of his work. From the daily life to the sensuality of a last time (Des câlins dans les cuisines), he makes up, then, with Regarder Oana a gastronomic and love variation, which alternates virtuoso animation of food and almost static drawings. Finally, in Vasco, inspired by Dominique A’s songs, he takes the intimacy minimalism to the mythological tale.
