LA (TOUTE) JEUNE CRITIQUE EST ORGANISÉE PAR LA SEMAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LA CRITIQUE ET L’OFFICE FRANCO-ALLEMAND POUR LA JEUNESSE (OFAJ) AVEC LE SOUTIEN DE TV5MONDE, DU MINISTÈRE DE LA SANTÉ, DE LA JEUNESSE ET DES SPORTS ET DE L’OROLEIS.

THE (VERY) YOUNG CRITIC IS ORGANIZED BY INTERNATIONAL CRITICS’ WEEK AND THE FRANCO GERMAN OFFICE FOR YOUTH (OFAJ) WITH THE SUPPORT OF TV5MONDE, THE FRENCH MINISTRY OF HEALTH, YOUTH AND SPORTS, AND OROLEIS. |
Chaque année, la Semaine de la Critique invite des lycéens français et allemands à visionner sa Sélection sur la Croisette.

Every year, International Critics’ Week invites French and German high school students to share its Selection on the Croisette. |
Comme de vrais critiques de cinéma, les lycéens assistent quotidiennement aux projections des sept longs et sept courts métrages de la Sélection. Après avoir rencontré les équipes des films, ces apprentis journalistes écrivent leurs articles, dont les meilleurs sont publiés dans les médias partenaires (presse écrite, radio et Internet).

Put in real cinema critics’ shoes, both French and German students attend the screenings of every seven feature films and seven short films of the Selection on a daily basis. After they meet the films’ crews, these apprentices write their article and the best ones are published in the partner medias (press, radio and internet). |
A la fin de la Semaine, les lycéens français et allemands constituent un jury et délibèrent pour décerner le Prix OFAJ/TV5MONDE de la (Toute) Jeune Critique au meilleur long métrage de la Sélection.

At the end of the Week, the students form a jury and award the (Very) Young Critic OFAJ/TV5MONDE Prize to a feature film of the Selection. |

|
Parallèlement, deux Prix sont remis par l’OFAJ et TV5MONDE aux auteurs de la meilleure critique en français et de la meilleure critique en allemand. Les lauréats seront invités au Festival International du Film de Berlin (Berlinale) en 2010. |
|
A prize is also attributed by OFAJ and TV5MONDE to the best critic in French and the best one in German. The winners will be invited to the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). |
