PRIX DECERNES A DES LONGS METRAGES

Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique
Snijeg (Snow) d’Aida Begic
(Bosnie-Herzégovine/Allemagne/France/Iran)

Le Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique est décerné par la presse à l’un des sept longs métrages de la Sélection. Les journalistes et critiques de cinéma sont invités à voter à l’issue de chaque séance. Le Prix est doté par Cinepolis d’un montant de 5 000 € remis au réalisateur.


Prix SACD
Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) de Christophe Van Rompaey (Belgique)
Scénario : Jean-Claude Van Rijckeghem et Pat Van Beirs

La SACD récompense l’un des auteurs des sept longs métrages de la Sélection. Le Prix est doté de 3 000 €.


Soutien ACID/CCAS
Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) de Christophe Van Rompaey (Belgique)

Attribué par des cinéastes de l’ACID et un représentant de la CCAS, ce soutien est financé à hauteur de 8 000 € par la CCAS. Le distributeur français du film primé bénéficie d’une enveloppe de 4 000 € gérée par l’ACID pour l’aide à la diffusion du film lors de sa sortie en salles. La CCAS offre 4 000 € au réalisateur.




Prix OFAJ/TV5MONDE de la (Toute) Jeune Critique
La Sangre Brota (Blood Appears) de Pablo Fendrik (Argentine/France/Allemagne)

32 lycéens français et allemands sont invités à Cannes pour faire l’apprentissage de la critique de cinéma. Ils constituent un jury et attribuent le Prix de la (Toute) Jeune Critique à un long métrage. Le Mouv’ offre au distributeur du lauréat une campagne promotionnelle pour accompagner la sortie du film.


PRIX DECERNES A DES COURTS METRAGES

Grand Prix Canal+ du meilleur court métrage
Next Floor de Denis Villeneuve (Canada)

Les programmes courts de CANAL+ achètent les droits du film primé pour diffusion à l’antenne. Panavision Alga Techno offre au lauréat 6 000 € en matériel pour le tournage de son prochain film.



Prix découverte Kodak du meilleur court métrage
Skhizein de Jérémy Clapin (France)

Un Jury composé de professionnels du cinéma (Céline Sciamma, réalisatrice, Philippe Martin, producteur - François Kraus, producteur - Hafsia Herzi, comédienne - Daphné Roulier, journaliste - Crystel Fournier, chef opérateur - Luc Lagier, critique de cinéma - Alexandra Henochsberg, distributrice) récompense un court métrage. Le Prix est doté d’un montant de 3 000 € en pellicule.


AUTRES PRIX

Prix Regards Jeunes
Vse Umrut A Ja Ostanus (Ils mourront tous sauf moi) de Valeria Gaïa Guermanika (Russie)

Le Prix est décerné par un Jury de sept jeunes cinéphiles français et européens à un long métrage de chacune des deux sélections parallèles du Festival : la Semaine Internationale de la Critique et la Quinzaine des réalisateurs.


Résidence d’écriture au Moulin d’Andé-Céci
Le Moulin d’Andé-Céci (Centre des Ecritures Cinématographiques) accompagne les réalisateurs découverts à la Semaine de la Critique pour l’écriture de leur prochain film et offre deux résidences. Les lauréats seront annoncés au courant du mois de juin.

FEATURE FILMS AWARDS

Critics’ Week Grand Prix

The Critics’ Week Grand Prix is attributed by the press to a feature film. Journalists and film critics are invited to vote after each screening. 5 000 € are offered by Cinepolis.




SACD awards
Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) de Christophe Van Rompaey (Belgique)
Scénario : Jean-Claude Van Rijckeghem et Pat Van Beirs

The SACD awards a 3 000 € cash Prize to the best screenwriter among the seven feature films of the Selection.


ACID/CCAS Support Award
Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) de Christophe Van Rompaey (Belgique)

This 8 000 € prize sponsored by CCAS, is awarded by directors members of ACID (Association of Independent Cinema for its Distribution) and one representative of CCAS (Main Fund of Social Activities). The French distributor of the awarded film will receive a 4 000 € support that ACID will use to help distributing the film when it arrives in theaters. CCAS will award a 4 000 € prize to the director.


OFAJ/TV5MONDE (VERY) Young Critic Award
La Sangre Brota (Blood Appears) de Pablo Fendrik (Argentine/France/Allemagne)

32 French and German students are invited to Cannes to learn how to be film critics. They form a jury and award the (Very) Young Critics Award to a feature film. Le Mouv’ offers advertising insert to the French distributor to promote the film when it will come out in theaters.


SHORT FILMS AWARDS

Canal+ Award for Best Short Film
Next Floor de Denis Villeneuve (Canada)

CANAL+ Short Films programs buy the rights of the film they award to broadcast it. Panavision Alga Techno will award a 6 000 € support in equipment for the shooting of the winner’s next film.


Kodak Discovery Award for Best Short Film
Skhizein de Jérémy Clapin (France)

A Jury composed of professionals of the film industry rewards a short film. 3 000 € in film are offered by Kodak.








OTHER PRIZES

Prize Regard Jeune

The award is attributed by a Jury formed of seven young French and European cinephiles to a feature film from each of the two parallel sections of the Festival : International Critics‘ Week and Director’s Fortnight.


Residence of writing in the Moulin d’Andé-Céci
The Moulin d’Andé-Céci (Center of Film Writings) supports the directors discovered at Critics’ Week for the writing of their next film by offering two residencies. The winners will be announced in June.
