The Critics’ Week Grand Prix is attributed by the press to a feature film. Journalists and film critics are invited to vote after each screening. 5 000 € are offered by Cinepolis.
SACD awards

The SACD awards a 3 000 € cash Prize to the best screenwriter among the seven feature films of the Selection.
ACID/CCAS Support Award
Aanrijding in Moscou (Moscow, Belgium) de Christophe Van Rompaey (Belgique)
This
8 000 € prize sponsored by CCAS, is awarded by directors members of ACID (Association of Independent Cinema for its Distribution) and one representative of CCAS (Main Fund of Social Activities). The French distributor of the awarded film will receive a 4 000 € support that ACID will use to help distributing the film when it arrives in theaters. CCAS will award a 4 000 € prize to the director.
OFAJ/TV5MONDE (VERY) Young Critic Award
La Sangre Brota (Blood Appears) de Pablo Fendrik (Argentine/France/Allemagne)
32 French and German students are invited to Cannes to learn how to be film critics. They form a jury and award the (Very) Young Critics Award to a feature film. Le Mouv’ offers advertising insert to the French distributor to promote the film when it will come out in theaters.
SHORT FILMS AWARDS
Canal+ Award for Best Short Film
Next Floor de Denis Villeneuve (Canada)
CANAL+ Short Films programs buy the rights of the film they award to broadcast it. Panavision Alga Techno will award a 6 000 € support in equipment for the shooting of the winner’s next film.
Kodak Discovery Award for Best Short Film
Skhizein de Jérémy Clapin (France)
A Jury composed of professionals of the film industry rewards a short film. 3 000 € in film are offered by Kodak.
OTHER PRIZES
Prize Regard Jeune
Vse Umrut A Ja Ostanus (Ils mourront tous sauf moi) by Valeria Gaïa Guermanika (Russie)
The award is attributed by a Jury formed of seven young French and European cinephiles to a feature film from each of the two parallel sections of the Festival : International Critics‘ Week and Director’s Fortnight.
Residence of writing in the Moulin d’Andé-Céci
The Moulin d’Andé-Céci (Center of Film Writings) supports the directors discovered at Critics’ Week for the writing of their next film by offering two residencies. The winners will be announced in June.
