Launch of the 4th edition of Nespresso Talents

For the fourth consecutive year, Nespresso challenges the directors all across the globe to take part in a unique 3mns vertical (9/16) short film contest. The call for application is now open on Nespresso Talents' website until March 25th.

Filmmakers are invited to explore the theme 2019 “We Are What We Eat” and tell stories about food - its culture, its influence, and what it means to them.

The three winners of the International selection will be invited in May at the Festival de Cannes and will benefit from a mentoring session with La Semaine de la Critique. €48,000 in total rewards are up for grabs! Besides the international selection, the 3 winners of the French selection will also be invited to the Festival de Cannes. The Jury of the French Prize is composed by comedian Nora Hamzawi, basketball player, photographer, producer and filmmaker Boris Diaw and the founder of the French Gastronomoic guide Le Fooding, Alexandre Cammas.

With this unique contest, Nespresso wishes to highlight the stories that celebrate food and everything that encompasses it - its culture, its influence, and what it means to us. Every story is worth telling, so go tell your own with Nespresso Talents 2019.
