Lucie Borleteau

Born in 1980 in France

After going to the cinema, Lucie Borleteau trusted her dreams of working in films thanks to her film studies classes in her high school in Nantes at the end of the 90s. After her film and theatre studies, at Paris 8 University in Saint Denis, she worked different jobs in the industry while making her own first short films. In 2014, she “transitioned” to feature films with Fidelio, Alice's Odyssey, presented at the Locarno Festival, then Chanson Douce in 2019, and À mon seul désir in 2022. She has also directed for series, and is very happy to return to the short format with 1996 ou Les malheurs de Solveig.
